Named after a comment by a local council planner, Ashfield House is a standout example of heritage-sensitive construction.

The design features a striking courtyard tree and a palette of face brick and slate – perfectly aligned with the surrounding conservation area. Inside, Artechne brought to life a modern and playful interior that contrasts beautifully with the home’s heritage context.

The build showcases Artechne’s attention to craft and material detail – from burnished concrete floors and bagged commons brickwork to exposed timber ceiling joists and corrugated cladding across the roof and walls.

While the architectural vision belonged to our design collaborators, this project reflects Artechne’s commitment to delivering high-quality, considered construction with care and precision.
