Retaining the charm of the existing two front rooms of this working cottage, Artechne added a new double-story contemporary addition to the rear, resulting in a stunning combination of old and new.
The open-plan living area creates a spacious and airy feel with a large sliding door opening along the length of the kitchen that leads to the rear courtyard. The sunken living room adds an extra touch of drama and creates a special ambiance that can be felt throughout the house. Artechne utilised timber veneer and off-form concrete finishes to complete the look and feel of this magnificent renovation.
